SPECIAL TRUCKERS 

The Uniontown Protesters respect and admire truckers. They are the backbone of our American economy. However, that does not excuse the very few truckers to disregard fellow Americans their first amendment right to protest nor allow them to threaten violence to protesters simply because they want to visit a sex business. Almost all trucking companies have firm policy against their employees and vehicles, either company owned or leased from private owners, on any sexually oriented business property. Drivers who violate this policy can be disciplined or fired.

If a picture of a driver or company logo is posted, we will remove it immediately and give due praise upon confirmation by the trucking company official they will enforce a strong policy on their vehicles/drivers visiting sexually oriented businesses while driving for their company.

One point we'd like to make to truckers. Through history truckers honor virtually all protest/picketing against a company by union employees, no matter the union, employees protesting to get a union, people who have a grievance against a company and many other protests. Why not honor American citizens who are protesting a danger to their neighborhood? Is your individual addiction to porn so strong you would disregard the tradition and honor truckers have shown for decades? The very few who break the protest picket line we believe are not reflective to the great honor and tradition truckers have shown through the decades.

The Uniontown Protesters appreciates the truckers. Let's hope the ones pictured on this page come to understand the First Amendment is also for people in the community.
